CM Revanth directs issuance of new ration cards in non-code areas

During a review meeting with civil supplies officials on Monday, the CM emphasised that no eligible person should be left without a ration card. However, due to the election code in place for MLC polls in several districts, he directed officials to proceed only in areas where there are no such restrictions.

The CM also reviewed various designs for the new ration cards. He noted that lakhs of people have already applied, including existing cardholders requesting the addition of new family members. To streamline the process, he advised officials to raise awareness and prevent duplicate applications.
