CM Questions Why BJP MPs Were Acting as Gujarat Ghulams
“I urge Kishan Reddy and K. Chandrashekar Rao to give suggestions out of their experience. But don’t obstruct Telangana’s development with your lies, corruption and arrogance,” warned the Chief Minister.
Hyderabad:Continuing his stride against Union minister Gangapuram Kishan Reddy, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday accused him of meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the same Union ministers, three days after he met them, to make sure the state government proposals do not get an approval. He also challenged the BJP and BRS for a debate in the assembly.
The Chief Minister said that he was ready to present in the Assembly the work done by the BRS in 10 years, by BJP in 12 years, and what the ruling Congress government has done in two-and-a-half years.
“I urge Kishan Reddy and K. Chandrashekar Rao to give suggestions out of their experience. But don’t obstruct Telangana’s development with your lies, corruption and arrogance,” warned the Chief Minister.
He sought to know the reason behind Kishan Reddy’s instant meetings soon after he submitted memoranda on state issues in New Delhi and alleged him of influencing the Union ministers and stopping approvals.
“Soon as I met the Prime Minister for developmental works, Kishan Reddy met him. After I met the urban development minister, he met him after three days and the same with the railway minister. But when I ask him to come along with me to meet the union ministers, he doesn’t,” the Chief Minister mentioned.
“When I convince Union ministers for approvals with great efforts, he obstructs them citing that the Congress government in the state will get credit and they will form the government again and influence them to stop the approvals,” he added.
Revanth Reddy warned that people will give a mandate against the BJP if Kishan Reddy continues to obstruct the state’s development. He also accused all the BJP MPs from Telangana of stalling the releasing of central funds for development of the state.
“Why were the BJP MPs representing Chevella, Medak, and Malkajgiri and Kishan Reddy who won from Secunderabad, not asking Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi for funds? The Union minister is obstructing the flow of funds for Telangana’s development,” he said.
“When Modi developed the Sabarmati River in Gujarat, everyone heaped praise and now they are creating hardships for the Musi project,” he added.
