CID Issues Lookout Circular For HCA Secretary

Hyderabad:While writing to the Regional Passport Office (RPO) requesting to seize the passport, the Crime Investigation Department (CID) officials reportedly issued a lookout circular to trace the absconding accused and Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) Secretary Devraj Ramachander.

The CID has circulated the lookout circular to all Airports in India.

After questioning five accused, including the HCA president A. Jagan Mohan Rao, CEO Sunil Kante and others in the financial irregularities, the CID has intensified the probe and is trying to trace Ramachander, who has been missing since the probe started.

By obtaining leads from sources, the CID officials reportedly wrote to the RPO seeking immediate block of the passport of the secretary.

The CID officials suspect that the HCA secretary played a key role, along with Jagan Mohan Rao, in indulging in financial irregularities and misusing funds.

He reportedly influenced some contractors and material suppliers by colluding with the HCA president. Reportedly, the CID obtained inputs about the HCA secretary by grilling five accused.
