Sajjanar, in his tweet posted on Thursday morning, warned that, “anybody found making child a part of such content and that leads to minor’s exploitation, then the police will deal with them strictly as per the provisions of Pocso, JJA Act and other BNS Act.”

“We are keen on protecting and securing the minor victim. If the existing videos posted on social media or on other platforms, are not removed immediately, since our city police officials have been instructed to charge them as per law,” Sajjanar stated.

Anybody involved in shooting, circulating or broadcasting such content will be dealt sternly and a strict action will be taken against those violators as per the law, Sajjanar warned.

Sajjanar further conveyed to the violators that “how can values be forgotten in the illusion of views and to what extent is it reasonable to risk the future of children, for becoming famous on social media.”
