Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy commemorated the Indian National Congress's 141st foundation day by extending his warm wishes to all party members. In a Sunday message, Reddy lauded the Congress, calling it "a history written with the sweat of its workers." He highlighted the party's pivotal role in both India's struggle for independence and its subsequent democratic journey. The Chief Minister characterised the Congress as the "representative of 140 crore Indians" and "the wealth that fed the hunger of the poor."

The party's 141-year milestone, celebrating its contribution to the nation's independence movement and post-1947 nation-building, is being marked across Telangana. Local party units are holding flag hoisting ceremonies and various other commemorative events to honor the occasion.
