Chennai Worker Killed in Wage Dispute in Nalgonda
According to police, a group of daily wage workers from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, had come to Nalgonda for work at a new Chennai Shopping Mall under construction in the city. They were temporarily staying in Meerbagh Colony.
Nalgonda: A daily wage worker allegedly died after being attacked by another worker following an argument over wage distribution in Nalgonda on Saturday night.
The incident took place at around midnight at Sha Residency Apartments on Road No. 6 in Meerbagh Colony. The victim was staying in Room No. 402 on the fourth floor.

An argument broke out among the workers over the distribution of wages. The dispute escalated, and the workers allegedly attacked each other. One of the workers sustained severe injuries and died on the spot.
Police reached the scene after being alerted and shifted the body to a government hospital for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and a few workers have been taken into custody for questioning.
