Cops Intensify Security Checks in Balanagar

Hyderabad: Following explosion in a car near Delhi’s Red Fort Metro station on Monday, the Cyberabad police have intensified security checks across Balanagar area on Wednesday as part of nationwide high alert measures. Officers conducted inspections at crowded and sensitive locations to ensure public safety.

Teams from the bomb detection squad and intelligence wing carried out searches at IDPL D-Mart, Vimala Theatre, Durga Mata Temple, Sai Nagendra Temple, Shiva Temple in Sai Nagar and Narsapur crossroads bus stop.

Inspector Narasimha Raju said surveillance will continue and urged the citizens to report any suspicious activity by dialling 100.
