Celebrate Navaratri With Devotion And Grandeur: Naini
Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy and his wife inaugurated Navaratri festivities by lighting a ceremonial lamp after offering prayers at three temples.
Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy called for the grand celebration of the Sharannavaratri festivities with devotion and religious fervour.
As part of the celebrations, the MLA, accompanied by his wife Naini Neelima Reddy, visited the Sri Bhadrakali temple, Padmakshi temple and Thousand Pillar temple in Warangal on Sunday and offered special prayers to the presiding goddesses. The couple later formally inaugurated the Navaratri festivities by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
Speaking on the occasion, Naini said the Navaratri festival symbolised Telangana’s rich culture, traditions and spiritual beliefs. He wished that the blessings of the goddess would bring happiness, prosperity, good health and well-being to all people. He also instructed officials to make all necessary arrangements to ensure that devotees faced no inconvenience during the festivities.
The MLA said it was a long-standing tradition at the Thousand Pillar temple to install the idol of the goddess and celebrate Navaratri with devotion and grandeur every year. He expressed hope that the blessings of the goddess would bring prosperity to the people and ensure the well-being of the state.
Temple priests accorded a traditional Purna Kumbham welcome to the MLA and his wife and blessed them with Vedic chants.
