Burglary Reported at Former Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah's Residence in Hyderabad

 Hyderabad: Unidentified persons broke into the residence of former minister Ponnala Laxmaiah and decamped with Rs 1.5 lakh cash and gold ornaments from the almirah. Laxmaiah and his family were away at their native place for Sankranti.

The theft was discovered when the family returned on Friday. The Jubilee Hills police registered a case on a complaint lodged by Laxmaiah’s wife Aruna Devi.

Police collected details about the workers at the residence as part of their investigations. The gang broke open the lock on the main door and entered the premises.
