Karimnagar: The villagers of Buggaram, along with leaders of the Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS), filed a complaint with district collector B. Satya Prasad, urging legal action against district panchayat officer (DPO) Chikoti Madan Mohan. They alleged that the DPO was violating laws and ignoring court rulings and orders issued by the collector. The complaint was submitted during the grievance day programme held at the Collectorate in Jagtial district on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, TJS district unit president Chukka Ganga Reddy accused the DPO of negligence for failing to file criminal cases related to the misuse of Buggaram gram panchayat funds over the past eight months.

The complainants further alleged that the DPO had disregarded orders from the Lokayukta, the district collector, the district magistrate, and the Telangana State Information Commission. They claimed that several directives and applications filed under the Right to Information Act had been ignored.

They also suspected that DPO Madan Mohan had colluded with those involved in the misappropriation of funds, shielding them from criminal charges. The group listed 25 specific instances of alleged negligence and illegal activity, and urged the district collector to take strict legal action against him.
