Hyderabad: On Monday, BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao urged party cadres to submit petitions at Mahatma Gandhi statues across the state on January 30. This date will mark the 420th day of the Congress government, which, he claimed, had made 420 promises but fulfilled none of them.

Speaking to the party's student wing, BRSV, leaders and members at Telangana Bhavan, Rama Rao said, “Submit petitions at every Mahatma Gandhi statue in the state, asking the departed leader to visit Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy in their dreams. Remind them of their promises to the people of Telangana and that they need to be kept.”
Rama Rao also highlighted the unfulfilled promises to farmers, pointing out that more than 400 farmers had taken their lives due to the distress caused by the government's failure to fulfill the promises. “Farmer suicides have occurred at nearly one a day for every day Congress has been in power,” he alleged. He also said the student community too is facing challenges and has witnessed several suicides in the last one year. Rama Rao urged BRSV leaders and workers to educate the youth of Telangana on the Congress government's failures.
