ADILABAD: Leaders and cadre of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) observed the party’s 26th Foundation Day on Monday by hoisting flags at offices across district headquarters, mandals and gram panchayats.

District president and former minister Jogu Ramanna hoisted the party flag and addressed party workers. He said the party leadership had remained committed to welfare and development since its formation in 2001.

He said party president and former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had worked for “Bangaru Telangana” and earned public support. He referred to the party’s performance in municipal and gram panchayat elections and expressed confidence of improved results in future local body polls.
