BRS, BJP Deceived Farmers: Bhatti Vikramarka

Adilabad:Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday criticised the BRS for pushing the state into a debt of `8 lakh crore and claiming that they were with the farmers after sinking the DISCOM financially.

He alleged that both BRS and the BJP government at the Centre colluded and deceived the farmers of Telangana.

Addressing a meeting in Pallagutta village in Station Ghanpur in Jangaon district, he criticised the BJP-led central government for not purchasing the paddy through FCI from Telangana state. “On the other hand, BRS deputy floor leader T. Harish Rao is trying to remain in the news by creating a false narrative,” he said.

The Deputy CM reiterated that the Congress government was working for the welfare of the people and added that soon 1.15 crore families would get free accident insurance coverage in the state.

Bhatti Vikramarka listed the welfare schemes being implemented by the state government and added that electricity infrastructure works valued at Rs 60 crore were taken up for the development of Station Ghanpur constituency.

Bhatti criticised the BRS leaders for claiming the credit for the free power and said it was the Congress government that initiated the free power system first. MLA Kadiam Srihari and Warangal MP Kadiam Kavya were present.
