Bogatha Falls in Mulugu Drawing Tourists as Monsoon Rains Pick Up

WARANGAL: Bogatha Waterfalls, nestled in the forested Chikupally area of Wazeedu mandal in Mulugu district of Telangana, has started drawing large crowds with monsoon rains and upstream inflows transforming the popular tourist destination into a spectacular sight.

Often referred to as the "Mini Niagara," the waterfall has come alive with gushing floodwaters, offering a breath-taking spectacle for nature lovers. Though intermittent rainfall has persisted around the Bogatha Falls area on Tuesday, much of the erstwhile Warangal region continues to experience dry weather.

With the news of Bogatha overflowing, tourists from Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, and Andhra Pradesh are flocking the waterfall in large numbers. Visitors are enjoying the panoramic views and taking a dip in the natural pool at the base of the falls.

Families, children, and groups of friends are spending the day amid the lush greenery, making the most of the pleasant weather and picturesque surroundings.

With increased water flow due to continuous rains and upstream runoff, the waterfall has become even more attractive, resulting in a steady rise in tourist arrivals over the past few days.
