HYDERABAD: BJP state vice-president and former Uppal legislator N.V.S.S. Prabhakar has demanded that the government announce ₹50 lakh compensation for each of the families of those who died due to electrocution during Janmashtami celebrations at Ramanthapur.
Along with compensation, he urged the government to provide a job in the electricity department to one member of each affected family and to ensure free, quality medical treatment for those still hospitalised. These measures, he said, are essential for justice and reflect the community’s unified demand for urgent government intervention.
