BJP Protests Delay In Opening Warangal Collectorate
The Collectorate should be opened to the public and officials without further delay: BJP leaders
WARANGAL: BJP leaders and workers staged a protest on Tuesday, demanding the immediate inauguration of the newly constructed Warangal Integrated District Collectorate. They took out a rally from the camp office of BJP State leader Errabelli Pradeep Rao to the new Collectorate, raising slogans and carrying party flags.
After reaching the Collectorate, the protesters performed a traditional ritual involving pumpkins to ward off the evil eye, expressing their displeasure over the delay in opening the completed building.
The BJP leaders said the Collectorate should be opened to the public and officials without further delay. They alleged that the continued delay was causing inconvenience to people and urged the government to take immediate steps to inaugurate the facility. The unusual protest involving pumpkins drew attention at the Collectorate.
