Hyderabad:The BJP questioned the motive behind Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy repeatedly telling about empty coffers and claimed that it was a ploy to turn the people against government employees and retired employees who were pressing for their demands to be met, claimed BJP Assembly floor leader A. Maheshwar Reddy. “If Chief Minister cannot deliver the promises he made to the people and has no plans to bring the state out of bankruptcy, he must step down and seek a fresh mandate,” Maheshwar Reddy said with newsmen on Tuesday.

Malkajgiri BJP MP Etala Rajendar sought an open apology from the Chief Minister and demanded that he step down if he was unable to deliver on the promises made to people. “Telangana society is feeling insulted with the comments of Revanth Reddy about the state economy. He said that Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka had presented a Budget for Rs 3.04 lakh crore and asked how such a state could be bankrupt.

Party Medak MP M. Raghunandan Rao reminded Revanth Reddy about his earlier words against the then BRS government, asking it to step down if was unable to deliver governance and asked him whether he would go in for dissolving the Assembly in the wake of his latest comments about empty coffers. 


BJP Submits Memo to Gov Over Pak Nationals

Hyderabad: A BJP delegation led by politburo member Dr K. Laxman met Governor Jishnu Dev Varma and urged him to direct the state government to take immediate action to deport Pakistani nationals illegally residing in Telangana. It was a matter of national security and deserved priority, the delegation said. State BJP vice-presidents Dr G Vijaya Rama Rao, Sankineni Venkateswar Rao, Endala Lakshminarayana, N.V.S.S. Prabhakar, general secretaries G. Premender Reddy, Dugyala Pradeep Kumar, Bangaru Shruthiand D. Kasam Venkateswarlu were part of the delegation that met the Governor at Raj Bhavan.
