Nizamabad:Tensions escalated at a polling station in Mubaraknagar on Thursday during the MLC elections when BJP district president K. Dinesh Kumar engaged in a heated argument with police officers. The altercation began when officers requested that Kumar remove a Kanduva he was carrying on his shoulders within the polling station limits.

In response, Kumar asserted that he was carrying a saffron flag and not a BJP flag. "We are ready to strictly follow the norms, but we will not tolerate unnecessary domination by a few police officers," he stated, accusing the officers of creating trouble by wielding undue authority.
