The BJP has launched a month-long ‘Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan’ across Telangana to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 25 years in public life.

State BJP president N. Ramchander Rao said the campaign, being held from September 17 to October 17, was aimed at promoting public service and environmental protection.

As part of the drive, BJP workers are organising blood donation camps, cleanliness drives and other service activities with public participation.

Rao on Thursday participated in a programme at Tarnaka in Hyderabad, where he planted saplings.

He urged people not only to plant trees but also ensure their protection to help provide a clean and healthy environment for future generations.

Several BJP leaders and workers participated in the programme.
