BJP Conducts Cadre Training Camps In All Districts
Ramchander Rao said such camps help participants understand one another and ward off differences.
Hyderabad: The Telangana BJP is conducting Prasikshan Varga (training classes) for its cadre across all districts as part of the national Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Maha‑Abhiyan 2026, reinforcing the party’s practice of intensive cadre training once every three years. The two‑day residential programme covered 12 key topics.
District‑level camps followed a planned module, mostly held in remote or outskirt areas, featuring 14–15 sessions focused on ideology and history. Senior RSS‑backed leaders and subject experts delivered sessions, while state chief N. Ramchander Rao, Bandi Sanjay, Union minister G. Kishan Reddy, and Telangana affairs in‑charge Sunil Bansal and Abhay Kumar Patil also participated. Party workers received orientation on ideology, governance, technology, communication, election strategy and organisation.
Ideology sessions covered RSS‑BJP philosophy, cultural nationalism, integral humanism and party history. Governance training included double‑engine government ideals, schemes like PM Awas Yojana and Ujjwala Yojana, and reviews of state policies. Technology modules taught use of AI for reports and graphics, digital meetings, PowerPoint and data mapping. Communication training focused on media handling, TV debates, social media, public speaking and oratory. Election strategy sessions covered booth management, Shakti Kendras, countering opposition narratives and party expansion. Organisation training addressed strengthening structure, principles, customs and constitutional aspects.
Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Ramchander Rao said training is integral to BJP’s organisational culture, enhancing ideological clarity, discipline and commitment among cadres. He noted the party conducts training from mandal to state level once every three years, distinguishing itself from other parties through focus on karyakarta development. The state unit has completed sessions in 875 of 950 mandals. All elected representatives, including MPs, MLAs and MLCs, took part.
The residential programme began with yoga and ended with cultural events. Rao said such camps help participants understand one another and ward off differences. District office bearers, state executive members and senior leaders attended by invitation only. Attendance ranged from 600 members in Ranga Reddy (Rural) to 170 at the lowest.
The current drive is intended to gear up for three upcoming municipal corporation elections in city limits and the Assembly elections in 2028.
