Hyderabad: BJP state president N. Ramchander Rao on Saturday condemned the alleged use of force by police against unemployed youths, who had gathered at the Saroornagar indoor stadium for recruitment of posts notified by HYDRAA. Rao said: “Using force to disperse unemployed youth is deeply painful and condemnable,” he said. He accused the Congress of shedding “crocodile tears” for the youth in Delhi while using police action against unemployed young people in Telangana.

Rao alleged that the government had failed to fulfil the promises it made before coming to power, including a job calendar, large-scale employment opportunities, unemployment allowance and comprehensive support for the youth.

“The Congress has betrayed the youth of Telangana. The scenes at Saroornagar are the consequence of broken promises, failed employment policies and a government that has forgotten the very youth, whose aspirations it exploited to come to power,” he said.
