BJP chief Nabin's Maiden Telangana Visit on Feb. 4

Hyderabad: BJP president Nitin Nabin, in his maiden visit to Telangana, will address party activists and contesting candidates of the municipal elections at MVS Degree College Grounds in Mahbubnagar on February 4 afternoon.
Speaking to this paper, BJP national vice-president and Mahbubnagar MP D.K. Aruna said Nabin would travel directly to Mahbubnagar by road after landing at Shamshabad International Airport. Contesting candidates from the united Mahbubnagar district, recently elected sarpanches, ward members and booth-level incharges will attend the public meeting, along with activists and leaders from nearby districts.

Meanwhile, Ramchander Rao chaired a review meeting with state office-bearers at the party office to finalise election strategies and campaign programmes. The meeting was attended by Maharashtra minister and election in-charge Ashish Shelar, former Rajasthan state president and election co-in-charge Ashok Parnami, and others. The BJP is contesting all 2,996 divisions and wards in 116 municipalities and seven corporations going to polls on February 11.
The party will also release a “chargesheet” against the Congress government for failed promises on Monday. State in-charge Abhaay Patil will join Ramchander Rao and other leaders at the programme.
Separately, the Mahila Morcha, led by state president Shilpa Reddy, will hold a review meeting on Monday to chalk out strategies to attract women voters and involve maximum women activists in the campaign. BJP Rajya Sabha member and election in-charge Rekha Sharma will participate, along with other senior leaders.
