BJP Alleges CM Revanth Reddy of Failing in Governance, Diverting Blame to Centre
Venkateshwarlu urged the CM to abandon personal attacks, answer these allegations publicly, and focus on implementation of promised projects.
Hyderabad:BJP Telangana senior vice-president Dr Kasam Venkateshwarlu on Tuesday accused Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and his team of misgovernance, making “meaningless” remarks and shifting responsibility for the state’s failures onto the Centre and the BJP. Speaking at a media briefing, Venkateshwarlu blamed the state government for poor monsoon preparedness in Hyderabad, saying routine drainage and road works were neglected and that early rains have already cost lives.
He alleged the government has not delivered new infrastructure or welfare promises, but is quick to demolish poor people’s homes. Venkateshwarlu raised questions about the handling of the land acquisition for the Regional Ring Road, the Kaleshwaram project probe confining to few pillars, and alleged preferential treatment to the engineering firm L&T.
He also accused Revanth Reddy of using “abusive” rhetoric to blame Union ministers and BJP leaders for stalled schemes such as pensions, Mahalakshmi, Anganwadi payments and education funding. Venkateshwarlu urged the CM to abandon personal attacks, answer these allegations publicly, and focus on implementation of promised projects.
