BJP Accepts Congress Challenge For Debate on Development in Warangal
The BJP leader said that the public debate could be held at the Hayagrivachari Grounds.
HANAMKONDA: The BJP on Tuesday accepted Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy's challenge for a public debate on development, with state leader Rao Padma Reddy asking the Congress legislator to fix the date and venue.
Responding to the MLA's remarks, Rao Padma Reddy asserted that the BJP is ready for an open discussion on development of Warangal and Telangana. She pointed out that while the Congress MLA has criticised BJP, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has sought the union minister Kishan Reddy’s cooperation for taking up development initiatives in Telangana.
Rao Padma Reddy charged that Rajender Reddy had earlier challenged the BJP to a debate on development of Kazipet. But the MLA withdrew after the party expressed its willingness to participate in the discussion.
