Bhadrachalam MLA saves life of a Congress leader with CPR

Nalgonda: Bhadrachalam MLA Dr Tellam Venkata Rao on Friday saved the life of Congress leader K. Sudhakar by performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) when the latter collapsed with a heart stroke.

Dr Rao and Sudhakar were accompanying agriculture minister Tummala Nageswara Rao during his tour in Bhadrachalam in Bhadadri-Kothagudem district when Sudhakar suddenly collapsed after complaining of pain in the chest.

After Dr Rao revived Sudhakar, he was shifted to a private hospital at Bhadrachalam for treatment. His condition was said to be stable.
