WARANGAL: Banking services across the country are likely to be affected as bank employees have called a three-day strike from September 28 to 30. Banks have advised customers to complete urgent transactions in advance.
Cash transactions, cheque clearances and other branch services may be affected during the strike. To minimise inconvenience, Union Bank of India has announced that its branches will remain open on Sunday, September 27, and urged customers to use the opportunity for essential banking work.
However, 24x7 digital banking services will remain available during the strike. Customers can use internet banking, mobile banking (Union ease), UPI, ATMs, business correspondents and Bank Mitra points for essential services.
