Aquino Squadron Wins Banner
Brar Squadron won the inter-Squadron drill competition, noted for its precise drill movements and coordination.
Hyderabad: Aquino Squadron has been awarded the Commandant’s Banner for overall excellence during the Spring Term 2025 at the Air Force Academy (AFA), Dundigal. The award was presented at the Commandant’s Banner ceremony held on Tuesday.
The inter-squadron competitions included sports, academics, cultural events, and field activities. Brar Squadron won the inter-Squadron drill competition, noted for its precise drill movements and coordination.
Air Marshal S. Shrinivas, commandant, presented the banner to flight cadet Surya Dev of Aquino Squadron. Cadets of the winning squadron will wear a distinctive lanyard for the next term.
Addressing cadets and staff, the commandant appreciated the high standards of training and the efforts of instructors in preparing cadets for future responsibilities in the Indian Air Force.
