AICC to Conduct Training for Congress Sarpanches, Upa-Sarpanches
AICC's RGPRS to train Congress sarpanches and upa-sarpanches in Adilabad district on grassroots governance and government schemes.
The AICC will conduct training for Congress sarpanches and Upa-Sarpanches under the Rajiv Gandhi Panchayat Raj Sanghatan (RGPRS) in Adilabad district.
The training will be held in Ichoda for the Boath Assembly constituency on September 17 and in Adilabad town for the Adilabad Assembly constituency on September 18. TPCC president B. Mahesh Kumar Goud and AICC secretary Sachin Sawant will be the chief guests.
The programme is aimed at strengthening the party at the grassroots level. Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, DCC president Naresh Jadhav said the training was being conducted as part of the Sanghathan Srijan Abhiyan for sarpanches and upa-sarpanches.
Experts from the AICC will train them on their rights and role in the development of gram panchayats, Central and state government schemes, and how to take state government schemes to the doorsteps of people in their gram panchayats.
