AI-Generated Tiger Image Triggers Panic in Mancherial

Hyderabad: The Forest department lodged a complaint against a person for making an AI-generated photograph of a tiger moving in CCC Township in Mancherial triggering panic among the people.
As the photograph went viral on social media, the department constituted 10 teams to check whether the tiger was moving in the area. “We checked the premises thoroughly and found that it was an AI generated image,” said Mancherial Forest Officer Shiva Ashish Singh.
Based on the photo being circulated on social media, the department found that one Suram Kiran, a resident of CCC in Naspur in Mancherial made the AI image. The forest department officials lodged a formal complaint with the police seeking necessary action against him.
