Medak: A man who went missing 13 years ago has finally reunited with his family in Uppulingapur village of Veldurthi mandal.

The man, identified as Koninti Krishna, had migrated to Dubai through an agent in search of a livelihood. A daily wage labourer by background, he initially worked at a factory but, unable to cope with the exploitation by the organisers, he fled. With no knowledge of the local language and no means to reach out to his family, he ended up living as a beggar.
Back home, his wife Laxmi raised their two children single-handedly and even performed her daughter’s marriage.
A month ago, Krishna’s fate changed when Hanumanth Reddy, a native of Gomaram village in Shovampet mandal who has been living in Dubai, spotted him begging outside a hotel. Surprised to hear him speak Telugu, Reddy and his friends inquired further and identified him. They then informed local leader Bhupal Reddy and helped arrange Krishna’s return home.
The reunion after over a decade brought immense joy to the family.
