HYDERABAD: The forum ‘Advocates for Justice’ on Saturday appealed to advocates to refrain from appearing for the alleged assailants in the murder case of senior advocate Khaja Moizuddin.
In a statement, Adil Ali Meer, president of ‘Advocates for Justice, appealed to advocates not to represent Mujahid Alam Khan and Mahboob Alam Khan, citing the need to protect the sanctity and independence of the legal profession.
The appeal described the fatal attack on senior advocate Moizuddin as an assault on the legal fraternity and called for collective solidarity against violence targeting lawyers.
