Adluri Laxman Challenges BRS for Assembly Debate on Congress' 1,000-Day Rule

Karimnagar:Welfare minister Adluri Laxman Kumar has challenged BRS leaders K.T. Rama Rao and T. Harish Rao to join a debate in the Assembly on the Congress government’s 1,000 days' rule.
They should bring BRS president K. Chandrashekhar Rao to the Assembly, the minister said while addressing a press conference in Dharmapuri of Jagtial district on Thursday.
“The people elected the Praja government by defeating the BRS in the 2023 December elections. Unable to digest the welfare programme being implemented by the Congress government, both BJP and BRS leaders are making false allegations on the government,” he said.
Four out of the six guarantees were being implemented besides clearing debts made by TRS and BRS in 10 years, he pointed out and added that the Congress government was committed to implement the remaining two.
Besides distributing ration cards to eligible people, fine variety rice was being supplied. The incidents of exam paper leakages took place in the BRS regime. Moreover, the previous government was confined only to issuing job notifications. The Congress government filled 50,000 vacant jobs after coming to power, he said.
Talking about the development of Dharmapuri, Laxman Kumar said he would send the progress report of the constituency to BRS leader and former minister Koppula Eashwar. He was ready to accept any kind challenge if there were any mistakes in the progress report.
Besides sanctioning `17 crore for Yellampalli project land oustees, degree college was also sanctioned to Dharmapuri and took initiative to sanction funds for the construction of college building, he said.
