Actions ordered for misusing police vehicle
The circle inspector (CI) of Nagarkurnool on Wednesday lodged a complaint with his senior officers seeking action against people who misused a police vehicle — a video of which went viral on social media.
Hyderabad:The circle inspector (CI) of Nagarkurnool on Wednesday lodged a complaint with his senior officers seeking action against people who misused a police vehicle — a video of which went viral on social media.
The video showed some private persons misused the police vehicle by getting into it and filmed the act. Later, the video was uploaded on social media.
Hours after the video went viral, Nagarkurnool police noticed the video and identified the vehicle as belonging to the district police. The video
was shot at Amrabad locality. The vehicle was assigned to a sub inspector.
Sources said that the SI's family members and his relatives indulged in misusing the vehicle by boarding and getting down from it. The same was filmed and the reel was uploaded on social media.
“Senior officers have directed the police to take action against the private persons by registering cases. Action will be initiated against the Si for allowing his relatives to misuse the vehicle," police officials said.
