ACB Finds Violations, Suspicious UPI Transactions at Bandlaguda RTO

Hyderabad: A surprise check conducted by Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) at the RTO office in Bandlaguda detected violations and deviations apart from some suspicious UPI transactions in the cell phones of the staff.
The ACB officials found unauthorized persons and agents in the RTO office with applications. It was found that some officials - B. Sunitha and N Hemanth Kumar, both Assistant Officers, , Mohd Imran and K Sai Kumar, Senior Assistants, K. Babuji, and MA Lateef Khan and T. Saikanth, Junior Assistants, are in practice of putting symbols and names on applications for fast movement of application through agents.
The ACB found net cash of Rs.24,760 with the agents who are present in the office. Thirty-three transport applications were found missing from Sai Kumar and Sri Saikanth. It was noticed that some staff were found working for a long time in the RTA office.
