Hyderabad: A 42-year-old technician died in a road accident at the Jodimetla crossroads on Wednesday morning after an oil tanker allegedly hit his two-wheeler.

According to the police, Eega Mahesh, a resident of Tenugudem and working for Medha Company as an electronic technician, was on his way to work when the mishap occurred around 8.30 am. The tanker, which was heading towards Ghatkesar from Uppal, was being driven in a rash and negligent manner when it collided with Mahesh’s vehicle.

Following a complaint filed by his wife Eega Mamatha, Pocharam IT police registered a case under section 106(1) of the BNC and is being probed.
