300 Tonne Capacity Fertiliser Godown Inaugurated in Vemulawada
Karimnagar: Government Chief Whip and Vemulawada MLA Aadi Srinivas Rao inaugurated a 300-tonne capacity fertiliser godown on Saturday in Vattemula village, Vemulawada rural mandal of Rajanna Sircilla district. The facility, constructed at a cost of Rs 24 lakh with funds sanctioned by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard), aims to support farmers by providing efficient storage solutions.
Speaking at the event, Srinivas praised the timely completion of the project, which began with a groundbreaking ceremony just months ago. He highlighted the importance of the godown in easing logistical challenges for farmers and enhancing their productivity. "This initiative, funded by Nabard and cooperative bank resources, demonstrates the commitment to improving the agricultural infrastructure in the region," he said.
Srinivas also paid tribute to former Chief Minister Y.S. Rajashekar Reddy for his transformative contributions to agriculture and irrigation. He credited YSR with reviving cooperative societies and implementing projects that continue to benefit farmers today.
Reiterating the state government's dedication to farmer welfare, Srinivas emphasised that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy's leadership focuses on progressive agricultural policies and infrastructure development to empower farmers.
The MLA further lauded the CM's success in attracting significant investments to Telangana. In his first year in office, Revanth Reddy secured investments worth Rs 47,000 crore, and during his second visit to Davos, he brought in an additional Rs 1.79 lakh crore, creating over 50,000 jobs. Srinivas noted that these achievements reflect Telangana's favourable policies and its growing reputation as a global business hub.
Drawing comparisons to former Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao, Srinivas described Revanth Reddy’s leadership as visionary, driving Telangana toward a prosperous and progressive future.
