25-Year-Old Man Brutally Murdered in Falaknuma

Hyderabad: On May 2, a 25-year-old man, Majeed, was brutally murdered near Bibi ka Chashma in Falaknuma, Hyderabad's Old City. While at his pan shop, unidentified assailants armed with knives attacked him in broad daylight. Despite eyewitnesses' attempts to intervene, Majeed was fatally wounded and declared dead at Osmania General Hospital.
The incident has raised concerns about public safety and rising violence in the city's southern areas. Community leaders demand increased police patrols, citing a 41 per cent rise in criminal cases, particularly knife attacks and gang-related incidents, in the past year.
