2 Youths Killed As Bike Hits Stationary Lorry In Kamareddy

NIZAMABAD: Two youths were killed in a road accident late on Thursday night between Lachapet and Machareddy in Kamareddy district when the motorcycle on which they were travelling rammed a stationary lorry.

The deceased were identified as Jakkula Sai Kishore, 21, and Mirdoddi Ajay, 21, both residents of Lachapet village. The youths were travelling from Lachapet towards Machareddy crossroads when the accident occurred. They sustained serious injuries and were initially shifted to the Government General Hospital in Kamareddy. As their condition deteriorated, they were later moved to a private hospital in Kompally, Hyderabad. However, both succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment.

Both victims were the only children in their respective families. Their deaths have cast a pall of gloom over Lachapet village.
