₹18,444 Crore Credited as Telangana Completes Kharif Paddy Procurement
Over 14.2 lakh farmers benefit as ₹18,444 crore credited to their accounts

Hyderabad: Telangana Minister for Civil Supplies Uttam Kumar Reddy on Tuesday said the state had successfully completed paddy procurement despite adverse conditions. He reviewed the 2025–26 Kharif season paddy procurement at a meeting with Civil Supplies Department officials at Begumpet.
The minister stated that 14.2 lakh farmers benefited from the procurement process and payments amounting to ₹18,444 crore were directly credited to their bank accounts. He appreciated the efforts of officials in ensuring smooth procurement and timely payments to farmers.
The review meeting was attended by Civil Supplies Department Principal Secretary Stephen Ravindra and other senior officials.
