15 Telangana Police Officers Got Gallantry, Meritorious Service Medals
The medals were announced by the Central government on the occasion of Independence Day celebrations
Hyderabad: Three police officers from Telangana got Gallantry Medal (GM), while two of them bagged the President's Medal for Distinguished Service and 10 of them got Medal for Meritorious Service.
Two fire services personnel and a Home Guard from Telangana got the Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM). These awards were announced by the Central government on the occasion of Independence Day celebrations.
Three junior commandos B Sathya Rao, K Sandeep Kumar and J Vamshi Krihna from Telangana received Gallantry Medal while Narsaiah Jogula, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) and R Jagadishwar Reddy, Superintendent of Police got PSM medals.
P Jagadeeshwar, Inspector, P Venkata Ramana, ADCP, Bhumana Ravi Kumar Reddy, DSP, Bachalakura Ramesh, DSP, Bupathi Srinivasa Rao, DSP, Gangaram Ashala, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), R G Siva Maruthi, ACP, C Ramulu, Head Constable, and K Thirupathi Raju, Head Constable, D Satyanarayana, Assistant Commandant got and Ashok Munde and, Leading Fire Fighters got Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM) along with Home Guard Yadaiah Medipalli.
These were among the recipients’ of 301 Gallantry Medals, 92, PSM and 664 MSM medals across the country.
