118 JBM Buses Cleared for Service

Hyderabad:Another batch of 118 JBM buses has been cleared for road operations after passing fitness tests on Tuesday. The technical team certified these buses as fully fit. Out of 500 JBM buses suspended earlier, 150 had already cleared tests and re‑entered service.
Depotwise clearance included: Karimnagar 38, Nizamabad 23, Warangal 15, Suryapet 12, Nalgonda and Miryalaguda 14, Mahbubnagar 12, and Wanaparthy 4.
TGSRTC operates a fleet of 1,050 electric buses, including 500 from JBM. These buses remain suspended until certified by experts and senior RTC officials. The corporation also runs electric buses from Olectra and MEIL.
RTC has instructed regional managers to operate additional services in areas where JBM buses are not yet available, to avoid inconvenience to passengers.
