106 Child Labourers Rescued in Nalgonda
A total of 106 child labourers were rescued in 90 cases during Operation Muskan-XI, a joint initiative by the police, Child Line, and the labour department in Nalgonda district.

Nalgonda: A total of 106 child labourers were rescued in 90 cases during Operation Muskan-XI, a joint initiative by the police, Child Line, and the labour department in Nalgonda district. The rescued children, comprising 94 boys and 12 girls, have been reunited with their parents. They belong to the states of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh.
Superintendent of Police Sharat Chandra Pawar stated that cases have been registered against those who employed minors. He urged the public to report instances of child labour or begging by calling 100 or 1090.
In Bhadadri-Kothagudem district, 54 child labourers, 44 boys and 10 girls, were also rescued during Operation Muskan. These children were reunited with their families, with only one child requiring admission to a rescue home.
The month-long operation was conducted from July 1 to July 31.
