TVK Govt Did Remarkable Feats in 100 Days: TNUHDB Chairman
Ku.PA. Krishnan said Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay has implemented the full, uninterrupted live telecast of the state legislative assembly proceedings, marking a historic move toward complete transparency and public accountability
Pudukkottai: Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board (TNUHDB) chairman Ku.PA. Krishnan has said the TVK Government made remarkable achievements during its first 100 days in power. Besides, the TVK is evolving into a movement that will last for 1,000 years.
Addressing a press conference at Pudukkottai on Sunday, he said Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay has implemented the full, uninterrupted live telecast of the state legislative assembly proceedings, marking a historic move toward complete transparency and public accountability in the century-old legislature and this popular move has helped the public watch and know how their MLAs perform in the assembly.
He said there is no change in the DMK's conduct in the assembly, and one cannot expect patience from them as they remain the same as before.
The organisational restructuring within the DMK, following their electoral defeat, is driven by a strategic response to shifting political dynamics rather than fear, he added.
Referring to the remarks made by TNCC president Manickam Tagore that the TVK ministers and functionaries are still in a "fan mentality", he advised him to read Tamil history, adding that such remarks are expected and do not concern them.
