TNSTC Retd Staff Hold Demo For Slew Of Demands
Retired TNSTC employees staged a protest in Tiruchy, demanding settlement of pending monetary benefits, revised contract benefits, uniform DA calculation and jobs for their wards.

Members of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporations (TNSTC) retired staff welfare organisation, led by their Tiruchy region president Srinivasan, staged a demonstration in front of the TNSTC cantonment branch at Tiruchy on Tuesday, demanding among other things, settling all monetary benefits of all retired TNSTC employees from April this year.
They demanded that the contract benefits for 2013, 2016, 2019 and 2023 be hiked for all retired staff, to introduce uniform DA calculation, to provide job opportunities to the wards of TNSTC retired staff based on their qualification, to settle all monetary benefits to TNSTC staff on the date of their retirement, etc.
