Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay on Wednesday extended his Onam greetings to the Malayalam-speaking people across the globe, wishing them peace, prosperity, and happiness.In a social media post, the chief minister highlighted the festival's spirit of unity, love, and joyous harvest celebrations.

"I extend my heartfelt Onam greetings to all our Malayalam brothers and sisters living across the world! On this harvest festival of Kerala, may love and happiness overflow in your homes and hearts forever! May your lives blossom with vibrant colours, just like the beautiful Pookkalam (flower carpets)! May this day, which celebrates unity, love, and shared happiness, bring health and peace to everyone's life," he said.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay on Wednesday extended Milad-un-Nabi greetings to the Muslim community, calling upon people to follow the noble teachings of Prophet Muhammad to foster peace, love, and brotherhood across society. Milad-un-Nabi is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.

The CM urged everyone to uphold compassion, equality, and social harmony in their daily lives.

"On this auspicious day celebrating the birth of Prophet Muhammad, I extend my heartfelt Milad-un-Nabi greetings to all my beloved Islamic brothers and sisters! Let us follow the noble ideals taught by Prophet Muhammad to shower love on humanity, show compassion toward the poor and needy, and cherish equality and brotherhood among all and make love and harmony flourish in the world. On this sacred day, may happiness, good health, and prosperity fill everyone's lives," he said.
