Tamil Nadu CM Stalin Exults Over Enrolment Picking Up Momentum

Chennai: Exulting over the DMK's recently launched ‘Oraniyil Tamil Nadu’ (the State in a single team) enrollment drive picking up momentum, Chief Minister and DMK president M K Stalin said that the numbers had crossed 50 lakh, pointing to an electoral triumph.

In a message on X on Thursday, Stalin said that he also joined the campaigners at Tiruvarur, where he is now to attend official engagements, and canvassed for membership at Sannidhi Street, where his father M Karunanidhi lived once upon and time and found the response tremendous.

Congratulating the district secretary Thangam Thenarasu and the other office bearers for the achievement, he wished other district level functionaries taking up the challenge to beat Thiruchuzhi in the race.

Stalin also uploaded photographs of him walking through the streets of Tiruvarur and talking to families at the homes and also the residents of social justice hostels, where was seen being welcomed with enthusiasm by the students making a mad scramble to shake hands with him. He said he spoke to the students to know their requirements.
