IIT-M Launches ‘AI For All’ Initiative In Hindi

Six free online courses will enable learners from across the country to acquire essential AI skills in their preferred language.

CHENNAI: The IIT-Madras-led digital learning platform SWAYAM Plus has launched its flagship ‘AI for All’ initiative in Hindi, reinforcing its commitment to inclusive and accessible AI education.

Six free online courses will enable learners from across the country to acquire essential AI skills in their preferred language. The courses do not require any prior knowledge of AI or coding. Basic digital literacy and an interest in learning are sufficient.

Prof. R. Sarathi, Dean (planning), IIT-M, said the initiative was designed to remove language barriers, deepen conceptual understanding and broaden participation in AI education across regions and academic backgrounds. Each course spans 25 to 45 hours. Learners may opt for a paid certification by appearing for an online proctored examination, which can be taken from anywhere’, said Prof Sarathi.
