DMK Calls For Protest In Districts HQs
An official announcement for the protest said murder, robbery and drug trafficking had increased, leading to a serious breakdown of law and order and that violence against women and child abduction had increased significantly.

Chennai:The DMK has called for massive protest demonstrations in all district capitals on Saturday, October 31, on behalf of the party’s Women's wing, condemning the TVK government that had allegedly pushed Tamil Nadu into an abyss as an unsafe state.
An official announcement for the protest said murder, robbery and drug trafficking had increased, leading to a serious breakdown of law and order and that violence against women and child abduction had increased significantly.
Reports of ruling TVK leaders’ involvement in such criminal activities on a large scale were also coming out and the government had not taken any steps to maintain law and order, prevent crimes against women and children, and control price hikes, it said.
