CM Vijay Visit to Delhi From Wednesday
The Chief Minister’s flight is scheduled to leave Chennai at around 8 am on Wednesday and the Niti Aayog meeting is on June 11
Chennai: Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay is leaving for New Delhi on Wednesday by a special aircraft to attend the governing council meeting of the Niti Aayog and also to meet national leaders including President Droupadi Murmu during the three-day visit.
In the second visit of Vijay to the national capital as Chief Minister, he is expected to call on those leaders whom he could not meet during his maiden visit to New Delhi on May 27, official source said.
The Chief Minister’s flight is scheduled to leave Chennai at around 8 am on Wednesday and the Niti Aayog meeting is on June 11. So he would have time for other engagements before and after the Niti Aayog meeting, which would be presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and attended by Chief Ministers of other States
Besides the President, Vijay might meet Vice President C P Radhakrishnan, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Congress top leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. He is expected to return to Chennai in the evening of June 12.
