BJP Warns Cadre Against Joining Annamalai

Chennai: A day after former BJP State president K Annamalai launched his own party, the present State president Nainar Nagenthiran warned his party cadre against having any truck with the new outfit.

In a statement on Saturday, Nagenthiran, without naming Annamalai or his party, said the BJP had not approved any of its members to associate themselves with any other party.

As members or office-bearers of the BJP, no one should join any other political organization but only strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who had pledged to make India a superpower by 2047, he said.
